The Director General of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Hormozgan stated: Studies on the preparation of a comprehensive plan for the commercial ports of the country with the aim of drawing the axes of development and determining the capacity of the country's ports and taking into account the vision of the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1404 for the ports of Shahid Rajaee, Lange, Shahid Bahonar, Hengama, Kandalou , Jask, Hormuz, Sirik, Shiv and Tiab have been done.
Abbasnejad said: This plan includes the study of the macroeconomic situation of the country and foreign trade, the examination of the current situation of ports, islands, harbors, regional megaports and maritime transportation technology for planning at the national and regional level, policy making to increase the participation of the private sector and system design. Among the most important things studied in this study project are long-term forecast of foreign trade, estimation of the volume of goods including export, import, transit and coastal trade, studies of the physical and non-physical development master plan, examination of the current status of ports, including facilities, equipment, management. and port operations, the existing port system and the case and determination of immediate and long-term investment needs. The director of the special economic zone of Shahid Rajaei port, the study of the internal and external transportation network, the formulation of the development and expansion plan of the ports to respond to the needs and the preparation of the comprehensive plan for the physical development of the main ports along with economic and technical reviews are among the other axes required in this plan.
