The Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways of India said: The increase in activities in Chabahar port will create a new environment for the development of this port. Stating that Chabahar is a transit gate and has a special role in the North-South corridor, Sonwal said: "Chabahar Port will shorten the time and route of transporting goods for the countries of Central Asia, South Asia and Central Asia." He stated that India has taken several measures to increase the volume of goods to Chabahar, especially through Japan, South Korea and Central Asian countries, and stated: In this regard, we also held the Chabahar Day program in Mumbai and hosted delegations.
